A Busy Saturday [Part Three]

So the day went on with me traveling and walking around The LES waiting for A-Money to get out there from Queens. So I stumbled upon The Mulberry Street Vendors Fair! Now I love this about NYC cause this is where you get out among other creative people, artists and the public! So I found two T-shirt vendors that were really dope. They had a great selection of t-shirts and every sneaker gal loves fly T-shirts!

The first vendor was VERNAKULAR [www.vernakular.com]. They make T-shirts showcasing the work of emerging photographers. They had alot of cultural iconic types shirts that were fun and made me go back in my childhood a bit. Like this one below.



We all remember chasing the ice cream man, C'mon!!!

The other T-Shirt vendor wouldn't let me take pics, but I bought one of his shirts! And I got a cool "FSF" discount lol, not really but he did lookout for me!

This company is called PLASTER & PASTE [www.plasterandpaste.com] and they are based in Brooklyn. They had a great line of quality t-shirts with graphics and imagery. You'll see why I bought the shirt I did below.

A Busy Saturday [Part Two]

So Im on Spring Street now after the meeting and run into PREMIUM LACES [www.premiumlaces.com] and their new storefront on 68 Spring Street (right off the 6 Train as soon as you come out of the station) They've been there about 6 months in this place. Its a nice spot, got some heat, and smaller sizes as well. You know I definitely checked!!!! They carry gear too for ladies and the dudes. With the supreme location they have they got alot of mixed crowds all looking for kicks! Not just the sneakerheads.

A Busy Saturday [Part One]

I was out of the town ALL DAY Saturday. I had to meet with some other fellow artists about the big SNEAKER GALAXY EVENT going down in May at the SOHO LOFT!! Believe me you guys don't want to miss this event. I don't want to reveal too much...but with limited tix (and they are only 20 dollars) you should get yours right away!

More releases of the Nike Liberty Pack

Nike just released the rest of the Liberty pack this week. The reason why they named it the Liberty Pack is in reference to the Liberty Retail Plc Located in The UK. They are know for their high quality fabric. The rest of the pack will include two Nike Dunk Highs with the Liberty floral print fabric allover the sneaker. These are already sold in Europe and Australia. Provider in Australia already has these in stock.

NB Element 576 Collection launching

No time to write much before I hop on a plane, but these are too pretty to miss. I really love the water one myself; it's so clean and spring like. Come on Spring...

These remind me of the ST33s that NB did last year, maybe a little simpler, but keeping with a nicely textured material story and Asian theme (from the Taoist principles of the elements, and with each shoe including the Chinese symbol for the element). Check them out...

off to the Final Four!

This will be my third Final Four, and my first one in which my favorite team is actually coming too! Wooohoooo! (I had the bad luck of going to San Jose and Boston without them.) Yes, if you've always wondered why I wear so much orange, why I collect orange sneakers, or why my next dog will be named Parker, now you know.

Speaking of Parker, she barely made it herself. She just got cleared to play after dislocating her shoulder twice in Tuesday's slugfest with Texas A & M. I have my fingers crossed that she'll be okay. We really need her!

If I'm slow on emails, blogs and site postings, I apologize! I'm off acting like a fool for the Lady Vols! GO TENNESSEE!

PS--but I will be driving to Miami for the FSF party on Saturday!

KICKSCLUSIVE RELAUNCH PARTY FEAT. FSF'S OWN PINK EYE

After 5 years and 14 issues Kickslusive Magazine is doing re-branding of the magazine. The magazine is now called KCLSV Mag., which stands for KICKS, CLOTHING, LIFESTYLE, SPORT & VYNL. For Issue 15 they have double cover with DJ AM on the front cover and the Adidas X Undr Crwn GilIIzero. This issue is also packed with sneaker culture stories that wont let you put the magazine down.

This past Tuesday Kicksvlusive celebrated this relaunch at Manor in NYC with a party featuring FSF's own Pink Eye and our homie Rebel Aire.

Yo MTV Raps Puma 3rd Series

Puma has just unleashed the 3rd series of the Yo MTV rap collab. The series will consist of the first rounds,suede patent, and RS-100. Each sneaker has a wild and funky color way or design on them. These will release in Japan on April 15th and in the US later in the spring.

New Women's Patchwork Nike court force lo

Another release for the ladies this week, the women's patchwork court force lo. The color way on this sneaker consist of mostly a neutral gray undertone,touch of pastel colors and a patchwork pattern. Not feeling these what so ever they seem so blah to me, I guess they thought by adding the patchwork it was going to help but it doesn't. These can be found at your local sneaker spots and select Nike accounts.
