Michelle Obama finally went all out on some sneakers! And while all the non-sneaker heads of the world think it's SHOCKING that they're $540, I'm just surprised that they're not Air Yeezies =) I mean, for that kind of money... Okay, seriously, they are Lanvin Cap Toe sneakers, a French fashion brand that apparently she's worn before. Yet another example of the fashion houses dipping into sneakers. What do you all think? 
Folks were also spazzing that she wore them to a food bank, and not because they were worried she'd get ketchup on them. Wait 'til they hear about all the kicks she has "on ice"...
(And Kanye West is also a Lanvin fan, so these are one step away from the Yeezies...)

I wouldn't understand if Mrs. Obama wore Air Yeezys, but the low top Lanvin sneakers make sense. They're feminine, sporty, and have a classic and streamlined look. Although the price juxtaposes the fact that she's at a food bank, it also might not make sense if she were in heels, a pair of Dior's or YSL's may not make sense either!
