Owner Robert Torres standing outside of Holy Grail
Vintage sneaker boutique Holy Grail was looted after the LA Lakers won the Finals. Twenty pairs of shoes were left out of 800; two computers, cash, sunglasses and hats were also looted. Robert Torres, owner of Holy Grail, was obviously upset, and said "It makes me not want to be a basketball fan." "I thought it would be a whole different reaction. Usually after the games we get a real positive response." The damages add up to $140,000. Luckily Torres has insurance and it will cover it. According to Torres, some of the vintage sneakers are irreplaceable, but he hopes to re-open Holy Grail at the end of the week. They have already arrested two people who live in the same building after finding six boxes of shoes in their apartment.
People don't know how to act!! It's one thing to celebrate, and it's another to loot. All I have to say is keep your head up Robert things will work themselves out.
