MELODY EHSANI x REEBOK PUMP "LOVE"

Back in August, designer Melody Ehsani posted the above pic on her instagram and I instantly got excited. This will be Melody's second collaboration with Reebok and it's scheduled to release early 2014. Having seen in person what seems like the final revision on Wednesday, November 6th at a Reebok focus group, I must say the pics do not do these babies any justice!   

When I first saw the pic, it instantly reminded me of one of my favorite artists Piet Mondrian because of the colors used.  The pair has a gum colored pump accentuated by a gum sole and features "Love" lace locks.  However, if you're a fan of the gold spikes they were m.i.a on the pair that I saw, which most likely won't be on the released version.

REEBOK PUMP OMNI LITE GS

The Reebok Pump Omni Lite has been around for some time.  Dropping some dope colorways influenced by the likes of the NFL's 49ers, artist Basquiat and the USA Summer Olympic team, to name a few.  This go round, Reebok dropped a treat just in time to bring in the summer!  The bonus, these babies are in GS sizes.

With these new colorways targeted at the lil sneaker fiend boys and girls, I had our grade school size Female Sneaker Fiend wearers in mind.  In addition to the bold colors, each pair is made with soft full grain leather ranging in sizes 3.5 to 7, which translates to about sz. 5 to 8.5 in women.

Adult sizes and colorways are available.  BUT I'm all for #teamlilfeet #gradeschoolgang right now! lol

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PUMP!
I was invited to come out & celebrate the occasion at POP BURGER, and what a party it was!! If you didn't know about POP BURGER already and were passing by, you would have thought it was a REEBOK PUMP store or club! There were PUMP's from the front to the back of the establishment in all flavors and years!!! Special guests were the inventor of the PUMP, Paul Litchfield, NFL superstar Emmit Smith, & NBA all-star Dominique Wilkins! Alot of guest came decked out in a pair of PUMP's, and there was even a documentary playing in the back all about how the PUMP came to life and how it changed sneaker culture! As a special thanks for coming out to celebrate, giftbags had a flash drive with the entire PUMP archive!!! SWEEET!!! Check out some more pics and go find yourself a historic pair for the collection!
