Lady Footlocker & Nike hook up the hoopsters!

Every now and then a celebrity-sneaker partnership comes along that makes sense. No, I'm not talking abut Snoop Dogg and his Pony's. But I can actually picture Leighton Meester (of Gossip Girl fame) rocking these cute, retro-style Reebok Top Downs, can't you? (Though she'd definitely be wearing an ipod not lugging a boombox, let's be real...) For Leighton fans, the new face of Reebok is going to be signing autographs and hanging out at Lady Foot Locker on 34th Street in NYC tomorrow, Saturday, at noon!

Someone must have heard me talking wistfully about white kicks in the summertime, cuz this piece of the Air Max Pack definitely say summer is here! (These are the Air Force 1 low premium women's (AM95). I'm still of about 9 minds about these mixed up kicks--creative? lazy? just plain brilliant? odd?--but I like the way this pair uses the soft grays of its predecessors to make the blue/green trim pop.

The lining looks cool, but I'd have to see it in person to see if it feels cool or hot...

They drop at Lady Footlocker on 6/21, which should mean easy access in plenty of sizes. $100.
