That's a very good question. Being that I just got put on to her today, I really don't know much about her. But what I do know is that she is a Los Angeles native and is one of the few talent out there that is bringing something different to the table. She kind of reminds me of Queen Latifah during her time in the Native Tongues Posse. Kandi is definitely about that female empowerment and really brings back that true hip hop element
