Nike has partnered with the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) community for nearly 15 years. In celebration of sport as a universal language, Nike releases the #BETRUE collection.
One of the items in the collection is the Nike Free Run 5.0 EXT SP #BETRUE. The back heel and insole from left to right shoe features a gradating rainbow, a symbol of LGBT pride and social movements, while a black upper features the Flywire technology. All profits from the #BETRUE collection will be donated to the LGBT Sports Coalition to support the goal of ending discrimination in sport.
Other items in the #BETRUE collection are tees, tank and Solarsoft Thong (flip flop). Both the Solarsoft Thong and the Nike Free Run 5.0 EXT SP Free ($115) range in sizes 4-15 U.S mens. The entire #betrue collection can be found here.
