For those of you lucky enough to live on the West Coast (of the US), check out Amanda Lopez's first gallery exhibit of the very cool True Story: the Vans Shoe Series. These self-portraits of sorts are taken across the world during her travels to Los Angeles, Pinar del Rio, Mexico City, Havana and Teotihuacan. It's a figural self-portrait, a diary, almost a graf-like proof that "hey, I was here". Thought of in reverse, it's a Vans version of "Where's Waldo?"... Enjoy!
