I found the most interesting video of one of my favorite jewelry designers, Miss Melody Ehsani. If you don't know Melody Ehsani's work, then you need to watch a Keri Hilson video because that's all she rocks. And I would too because her jewelry is too fly. It's time for a music post!!!

Yes it's about that time to start jammin on the 1 again. I know I have been slacking, but I'm gonna make it up to y'all. So this week's music post goes to (drumroll)... Brittnay Bosco!!! Her sound is a very unique one. It's like listening to an old school jazz record with a hint of J. Dilla-- it's just bananas!! Not only can she sing, but she has a nice kick game too. Check her out.....

Do the Right Thing...

Unlike AIG, Nike seems to be doing the right thing by releasing the "Do the Right Thing" pack based on (in my opinion) the best Spike Lee film ever made. If you don't know about the flick than I suggest you netflix that bad boy. The pack consists of retro Air Jordan 1's in two colorways, one in metallic red (shown) and one in green. In the inside and on the tongue of the kicks are colors from the movie. Jordan will be releasing matching clothing as well. These won't be due until July. Pics and info:Weekly Drop

Speaking of the Wii Kicks....

Kicks Hawaii will dropping these bad boys this Saturday!!   I hope that they do come in a size 6, because those blazer are looking sweet!!

Wii Love Nike

This is a fun, if obvious, cross-branding, and I think Nike did it well in both the Blazer and the AF2. Not only are both Nike and Wii are at the top of their games, but they got there by honoring the consumer with great design and fun details. These have both!

Featuring a light blue tint on the midsole, resembling when your Nintendo Wii is on, crimson red outline for off, while the majority of the shoes are white, as the Wii. The heel tab features Nike in metallic silver, like parts of the Wii, but also contains ostrich print. Laces are similar to the nunchuck that ties around your wrist, and the lace holes contain microchip print with a reflective finish. Lastly, the tongue has the power off symbol. Nintendo Wii pack available Summer 2009.

Rumor has it they're coming in sizes 6-15, although I'm not sure we'll really see the smallest of those. Holler if you do!

Janine Simon wins Knicks Poetry Slam!

FSF's extremely talented intern, Janine Simon, not only recommends kicks for Mrs. Obama, but spits some fierce poetry! We're so proud to share the good news: Her recent 1st place finish in the Knicks / Urban Word Poetry Slam earned her $10,000 towards her education, $25,000 in Nike equipment for her youth program, a laptop and a printer! That's no joke. She beat out over 300 other competitors. Check her out...

adidas Mad Climas ready for March Madness

College basketball followers and sneakerheads might remember that adidas WON March Madness last year--both the UT Lady Vols and the Kansas Jayhawks (men's side) were adidas-sponsored, so they were feeling pretty proud. This year they're celebrating the passion of March Madness with some sweet climacools (called Mad Climas, get it? March Madness...), and let me tell you from experience, these things do cool your puppies off. The special editions include 3 sneakers with team insignias (Kansas, UCLA and Louisville), and four special videos featuring KG, Josh Smith, Dwight Howard and Tracy McGrady telling us who they think'll win this year...
